I'm just meaning this forum. You never saw Ephialtes, Badspot, or Rotondo participating in discussions often, and when they do/did, it was almost always in drama or for exposing alts/problems/miscommunications.

I think that's more of a reflection on their personal approach to using the forums, and what else they have to do in their free time. (Remember that all 3 are adults and have other priorities in life).
When they do get around to spending time on the forums they then also focus on moderating, so they might not always have time to join random topics and join in with the games and discussions.

I don't think it's a rule of being a moderator that you can't interact much on the forums, but having responsibilities, including moderating the forums can take away from your free-time.

i doubt badspot's going to start giving mod positions to people he doesn't know and trust well until the forums get too big to handle the reports with the people working now

Bisjac is nearly as pompous as Ephi was, and he's already in good with Badspot. Personally, I think greek2me would be perfect for a moderation position.

However, if current events are any indication of the future, Badspot probably won't add anyone else to the forums moderators.
