Not ones guaranteed by the Constitution.

We are talking about rights in the bill of rights... you know those little ammendments everyone talks about.

why are we comparing this to war
I was saying that your "report after the event takes place" tactic would have made for an interesting Vietnam War, as public opinion swayed as reports came from Vietnam showing the bloodshed and lack of any real progress.
i dont think any of them actually wanted to be treated like royalty
its just like a reporter in the middle east or something, they know what theyre getting into, they know they could get blown up or shot and they choose to do it anyway so they can report the newsread oasis' post
But a reporter in the middle east wheres a flak jacket. Gotta use some common sense in these situations.
Not ones guaranteed by the Constitution.
There ya go.

Amendments to which document? The Declaration? No... The Magna Carta? No, that's not it...

THE BILL OF RIGHTS IS IN THE CONSTITUTION

i would say they are for the most part, take the crew that was gassed in a relatively calm area for example
what you define as "common sense" for reporters?

THE BILL OF RIGHTS IS IN THE CONSTITUTION YOU DUMBforget

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.

Here's an interview with the reporter.

They were a mile away from the protests and were in contact with nearby police. Seems like the riot cops are just indiscriminately firing off tear gas canisters into neighborhoods.

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.

Somebody just loving shoot me already.

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.
the bill of rights is the first 10 amendments on the united states constitution
did you fail your constitution test in 8th grade or something?

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.
The Bill of Rights are the first ten amendments to the loving Constitution.

its pretty close to war...

but that'd imply this was organized and expected to happen, if that was the case they'd been prepared for it.

they probably know they arent prepared and theyre willing for those risks to report the news

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.
my lord

The constitution determines how the goverment works.

The bill of rights determines the rights of the people.

dang. Kochie, just stop typing. lmao

Anyway, what you guys should really be talking about is how the American public eats up stuffty news. Channels like Fox aren't news, they are entertainment.

It's a problem with our news networks. They over expand stuff like everyone else in order for their ratings, and therefore profit, to go up. It's a company, not a informative source. That is also a problem with our news networks: every international station always leans right or left. It is almost never moderate. People don't get the RIGHT information, and therefore everything blows up.

And I thought spewing false and over-biased "facts" was illegal, and I see it happening everywhere.

kochieboy is officially off his rocker
"reporters' rights can be suspended and it's 100% ok to do so! they shoudn't have tried to do their job in the first place!"
assuming that's true in your head, do give us a good reason for the teargassing and equipment destruction. (spoilers: you can't, unless the reporters were secretly terrists or something along the lines)

also according to what i've heard (i'm not american), the Murrica news companies just want page clicks instead of actually reporting the stuffstorms going on worldwide. i mean cutting corners to get money sounds pretty logical but
