Author Topic: I have a $700 to build a computer, I need help. A bunch of it.  (Read 1676 times)

Hello, I have a $700 budget to build a computer... I might be able to go to $800 if needed. I need a build that can at least run most games that came out recently 1-3 years ago on a good setting. I really dont care for the hard drive space. Im fairly new to all of this so sorry if I sound stupid as hell.
I also need 8gb RAM. So... Any suggestions?

Part list that I put together....

http://www.logicalincrements.com is a good guide for getting bang for your buck

Here's a good tip. Give me your $700 so I can build a new computer.  :cookieMonster:

8 gb ram and buy AMD DO NOT BUY INTEL. Also save 200 bucks and total legally posses a windows 7 operating system. *cough* legally *cough*
get a 64 bit comp
I recommend for the processor a Amd fx 6300 six core processor 4.20 ghz. runs so nice and was reasonably priced. I made my gaming comp for 500$ and it plays bf4 on max settings

how about we don't listen to alvik

elaborate
what i'm guessing is that he is trying to say that all of those logicalincrements builds are only for gaymin , not simply high end computers for heavy loads.

why not intel
Ok it's mostly preference/opinion but I think intel sucks. The box says it's better but when you overclock an AMD processor it's way better than any intel processor.

why not intel
intel isnt the best for budget builds. if you want to save money youre better off going amd

If you think GHz or core count is all that matters (which it seems like you do) then please leave this thread immediately
