Insidious Sucked - Swholloween Special Review

Remember Insidious? That stupid loving movie that gave away it's scariest moments in the trailer?

Yeah, well, in order to get into the Halloween spirit I decided to review these two pieces of garbage.

Looks like I got this video just out in time for Halloween. I guess that means I can worry about next months big holiday review.

What’s even in November? Well, I suppose its election month, I could always do a political movie. Or perhaps Veterans Day, there are so many terrible war movies to watch.

Or maybe....

Oh no.

The Fault in The Fault in our Stars Review

Don't worry, you don't actually have to think. You put the movie in front of your face but you don't let it do the storytelling. It's a metaphor.

A METAPHOR FOR REALLY STUPID.

Pain demands to be felt. And bad movies demand to be watched.

This time I tried some new things to fix the problems people had with the last one. Less dead air visuals (black screen only) and a structured review style (numbered points).

God's Not Dead (The Super Long Review Edition)

If you can sit through 40 minutes of me rambling about a really terrible film, then this is the video for you.

It started out as a short idea, but soon turned into a long brown townysis of the film, and in case you’re wondering, it’s entirely about the plot, story, and characters. I don’t even dispute the arguments made in this film (I do give them counter arguments, but this is not a review to bash faith or Christianity, this is a review to bash this terrible movie that happened to be about faith and Christianity).

This is a Lifetime movie that got a Hollywood budget and is as melodramatic cheesy as only the warm-and-fuzzy-religious media can provide.

This took a couple of days to edit as it started out as a ten minute ordeal and quickly turned into this. Holy stuff.

If you don't really care about the whole story side of things and only want to see where I dismantle the films tired rhetoric, skip to this part of the review.

I have yet to see it still. Its going on a year old now isn't it?

Didn't they misinterpret Nietszche throughout the whole movie or did I hear that wrong?

It came out in March but was just released on DVD earlier this month.

Well, the title of the film is of course "God is Not Dead" which is in direct coloration to the Nietszche's death of God, but the real sin to his philosophy is that they actually make very little mention of him other than this fact. They interpret him as a literal, which is incorrect yeah, but that's about the last time he's mention past the beginning to the film.

Wow swholli

You hit this one right on the head. Its perfect.
Its the quality i'd expect from someone who has 20,000 subscribers.
I am definitely subscribing.

you sound like lazypurple mixed with a radio announcer
i love it

i REALLY want to see the movie for myself first

is it bad movie night quality or should i just watch it alone

the only good part of the the movie was the montage, gotta love the 80's throwback

also idk why but your voice is oddly captivating :J

Ehh. It has laughable moments, I suppose, but their played out in such a soap operatic way that it's not really worth getting a group of friends to slosh through it with you in my opinion.

I'd probably just watch it alone unless a friend has heard of the film and wants to also find out how terrible it is.

but that's what made The Room so perfect! :O

I'll trust your opinion on this one, though. I don't want another Manos: Hands of Fate.
