there are some weird assumptions being made about furries:
1. they want to forget animals

if furries secretly wanted to forget animals, they would whack it to pictures of people loving animals/animals loving animals. but all the furry research is anthropomorphic animals. most furry stuff i see looks really human, surely if they wanted to forget animals they would make them look more and more like animals

2. if furry stuff is allowed on the board, it will become flooded with all the furries of BLF and turn into a furry board

there are only like 20 posts on that website rn. there are plenty of furry websites where they can get all the stuff they want. there's no reason to think they're going to go on a spree of posting foxes with tits or something

3. that furries are degenerates

yeah, that's the purest example of the slippery slope fallacy.
I'm not on either side really. Dren can do whatever the forget he wants with his imageboard, no matter how crude it may be to specific people, but the furries don't explicitly have to post their stuff on his imageboard specifically. They can always go to Fchan or something.

There's quadrepedal (the term "feral" is usually used) stuff out there, meant to look exactly like real animals, but it's a pretty small amount
