I seriously have no idea if shorta/loli is legal and I really don't want to condone paedophilia.
Furries tend to be especially cancerous, they already have the biggest topic on the board due to one or two people dumping.
I don't particularly want my board to become just a furry hangout either.

i'd let the furries post their stuff, though.

the whole thing's gonna die either way. if you allow furries to post furry stuff, at least it'll die a little later

not saying the board's going to die, i'd love to see it survive, but the furries are just gonna do their thing anyway probably. it's not like the furries only post fur stuff anyway, so shunning them might throw off some potential users. could /fur/ be a possibility or something??

if you're gonna have a /b/ board then don't remove non-illegal stuff. thats kinda the purpose of the board. anything that isn't illegal. I can understand selectively removing topics in the /blockland/ board but not /b/. that's just silly.

I guess the question here is would I rather have no /b/ or a /b/ mostly just used by furries. If I had to answer that specific question I'd choose the former.
If this was a fast paced imageboard with a turnover rate for threads and a established userbase, I wouldn't censor anything I didn't have to. But this isn't, we're just getting started, that means things are gonna be a bit different. The shorta and loli stuff really does make me worry though.

it's illegal in some places and not others. if it's legal where the server is and where you live then there isn't anything for you, personally, to worry about

Yeah, I have no desire to host a furry website, is basically where I'm coming from.
If I had a popular imageboard I'd tolerate it, but I don't want the majority of my few posters to be there only for furry content. That's absurd.
I don't understand why this is such a big deal, why would anyone see my imageboard and thing "furry research" before everything else, including regular research.
