You'll probably get into drinking more at uni. I'm not a big drinker, and have only really started to even bother drinking any alcohol in the last year or so, and only a few times with family.

Smoking you obviously don't have to do (and it would be advised that you don't).

You don't need to do either but if you learn to accept both and be able to socialize with people who do such things you'll find college to be a much more enjoyable experience imo

If you're not crusading against alcohol and weed you'll have no problem making friends with people that do. I find it more with weed but if they constantly talk about either instead of normal conversation stuff you don't wanna be friends with them.

I've actively hated alcohol and drugs for years and had no problems making friends. Feel however you feel and express yourself however you want, you will find friends and anyone that tells you otherwise is a cunt.

Yeah, I kinda wish it wasn't so prevalent just so you could find normal people and hang out without having to do something illegal.
That and I like being fully concious and aware.
