Author Topic: Stuck on Datablocks for my Own Server  (Read 2793 times)

I can't seem to get out of Datablocks and then my computer goes into lockdown and freezes. I feel something isn't working. I only added Music that I made.

You don't know how to make music for this game, do you?

They need to be less than 1MB, as well as mono, not stereo. Although that shouldn't crash the game, you probably have a faulty add-on somewhere in the mix. I say try launching a default server, with no client add-ons enabled. If it works, then it's a faulty add-on you have.

I already knew the songs weren't working. I didn't care if they were not working because it was still working on a certain music player. But I will see what I can do.

Bump. It just gotten worse. I tried to turn off my most recent add-ons, and now it's getting stuck and freezing right on "Connection Accepted" and then I'm getting a loading symbol and my computer freezes. HELP.

I already checked. And no. Yes, I know how to make music. That music is just for a music Player privately (Which the songs work) not for in-game. I already got in game music working that I made.

As mentioned above, it didn't work. You guys can't pinpoint the certain add-on?

Bump. It wasn't a client add-on. I checked all my recent add-ons. I really need help here!

I'm not so sure you're disabling the client add-ons or server add-ons. follow my steps exactly.

Delete all add-ons or goto your add-ons folder, move it somewhere else or rename it. If using steam goto step 1, if using non steam goto step 2:

Step 1:
>>Right click on blockland in your library
>>Click on properties
>>Click on local files along the top in the window that pops up
>>Click on verify local content or something similar
>>Steam will download any missing stuff (Including a fresh new add-ons folder)

Step 2:
>>Launch blockland
>>Blockland will redownload the files through the launcher

Launch the game and if the game works, then it is an add-on or client mod doing it, if it still doesn't work, move the add-on folder back or rename it back to it's original name.

Already done. But like I mentioned before, you guys can't find it?

Also, I tried to re-launch blockland with the Add-ons out. It works, but with the add-ons back in, it's now freezing on the main menu. Can't you guys pinpoint the mod?

Uhh make an add-on and name it zclient_blah, add a description.txt and a client.cs, within the client.cs type in trace(1); then launch and post your console.log

I've never made an add-on. How do you do it?

Here you go. Be sure to remove it after posting your console log, this is literally made to spam your console.

You can't disable client add-ons, you have to remove them

We don't have your add-ons folder, so no.

Or just tell him to enter trace(1); in the console...

Can't enter it due to the fact I keep freezing on the Main menu. Sorry.

I can bring my add-ons folder in. Just a moment.
