Author Topic: Image help- remove some backgrounds for me please  (Read 612 times)

I'm working on a little project, and I need a couple images modified.

REQUIREMENTS-
---Remove the backgrounds so they're transparent (requires either a .gif file type, or treat it as a vector. Just make the background clear)
---If possible, reshape the proportions of the image to 125x125. If this is not possible, attempt to reshape it so that the dimensions are the exact same (aka making the image a square, for example 603x603). If this can not be done without clipping the image, please inform me and I will look for a different image.

I'll be posting more images as the need arises, but here's the list for right now-

what was the purpose of that post

i don't think you'd be able to resize it to a square without cropping out everything but the logo itself

If you could just remove as much of the empty space, that's more than ideal. The other images are 125x125, but honestly if a couple of them are out of proportion just a little bit, it's not a big deal

done
woops, anyways just open it in paint.net and use the resize tool

hey op, in a program like paint.net, you can just select the white space with the magic wand and hit the delete key on your keyboard.

I'm in paint right now. I don't have a magic wand.

why don't you have paint.net

paint.NET

Because I've never heard of it. I've always used photoshop CS6 at school, because I was allowed to and I was the teacher's favorite. But now I've graduated from high school so I don't have that access.

Downloading it now.

yea paint.net is pretty cool. and you can get extensions for it so it can do more stuff but in general it's a pretty lightweight program for quick stuff.

Got it all, reminds me a lot of Photoshop CS5. I'm too cheap to buy the photoshop kit, but maybe with a student discount I'll invest in it.
Dunno.

Thanks guys, locking thread
