on my second day of bootcamp, after i got out the shower someone pointed out that my shirt was on backwards. so i did that thing where you turn your shirt around without taking it off, and apparently some chief in the hallway saw me do it and proceeded to bark at me for like 15 minutes straight because he said that i didnt care less if people saw me naked and i was whorish and didnt belong in the military

then someone was like "hey chief- somethin somethin" and as he left he was like "YOU STAND RIGHT HERE, IM NOT DONE WITH YOU"

and then came back after i was crying at attention for like 10 minutes and then came back and yelled at me more.

i spent that entire day thinking of ways to get separated from the navy haha

stocking joined the military. apparently she also saw the only straight guy in the entire us navy.

yes a gay navy joke. sue me.

Can you provide us with a general idea of your resume?
I'll do an edited version without my personal information after college and see what you guys think. Probably also send it to a few other people I know who hire others (for jobs I can't get, probably should have done this first and foremost though).

You gotta stay on them.
You can't just put out resumes; you have to follow up. Keep pestering them until they tell you no.
Alright, that's probably the issue. I'll see what I can do, but I'm a little worried I'm going to annoy the stuff out of them.

That's why I couldn't be in the military. I have an issue with authority when the authority is stupid as stuff.

no i still cry )':

I had a job interview for At Home (aka Garden Ridge) last week. Went completely without a hitch and they barely had anymore ahead of me. Sounds kind of greedy of me but I honestly don't think anyone could've done better than I did.

Still never got contacted even though I should've known by last Friday.

Getting a job's not about what you know, it's about who you know.
Call up an uncle or an old friend or whoever and ask them if they can put in a good word for you, then put in an application if they say sure.
Keeping the job is about what you know or how fast you can learn it.

Just my two cents.

Well, right now I've submitted a few applications (at least one of them will be successful) for a few upcoming gaming conventions. Unfortunately it's only about 3 days of work for each convention, but my hope is that'll lead off into something bigger.

What about doing clerical work in an office? I doubt they require any degrees

You should follow up an interview by calling them. Ask them if you should give them a call while you're there, and then actually call them at the time you set.
