Skype wont open

Whenever I try to open skype, it waits for a while and then says "Failed to get proc address for GetLogicalProcessorInformatio n (KERNEL32.dll)"

Anyways, yeah just try a clean reinstall. Not sure how much that'd do, as I don't use skype often so I am just going off of the general first thing to try.

the only response i have to this is to upgrade

xp has been obsolete for a few months now, the least you can do is get vista
