has anyone ever wondered about making their own country and if it would be easy or not? and im not saying some big country or anything with 1000+ people
like a village or small civilization outside of any major countries, just with people you know. i've always though that that would be pretty neato

easiest way would be to gather up a colony of boats or floating platforms or something. and go out to international waters.
though technically you would be citizens of something, and even though laws dont apply to you out there, you are still responsible for a few things regarding your home nation, and there are still obligations. unless you legally drop your citizenship.

but you can basically found a nation just by declaring it a nation. so long as its not actual territory someone claims.

actually founding a micronation is easy. but the territory is the hard part. that's why many are internet-based, if not most.
