what don't you understand? it's a specific law. I'm saying stop comparing it to other laws because those other laws aren't this law that this dude broke.
You say that growing weed is wrong solely because it's against the law but then you say that that principle doesn't apply to other laws.  That doesn't make sense.

It only applies when somebody is trying to make a point, you see?

It's bad when you choose to ignore the law when it's not some bullstuff law like smuggling bibles, and it's not some law like jaywalking that's barely even enforced.

So is jaywalking, and both really don't need to be illegal.

A swat team breaking down somebody's door and arresting them over marijuana is unnecessary and a waste of resources.
Well you see there is a lot more too it. If you are growing a few plants, no big deal. However it becomes a concern if you are growing large crops in your backyard and in your house.

Understandable, but using a swat team to bust the dude is still really unnecessary

Well to my knowledge the full details haven't been released. For all know either some kids who hated him came up with a bogus story that would require a swat team, or the police have been following him for awhile.

There is also the possibility that he has committed crimes in the past and has violated probation. The women in the video only had a vest on, she looked more like a probation officer or drug unit officer than a swat officer. SWAT may have came in first then they sent here in after they cleared the area. SWAT are usually called into situations that might be considered too dangerous for normal officers.

For all they know, there could be guys with weapons that go through normal police body armor, so rather than risk normal officers. They can just send in the guys who are trained to clear a building while wearing extra body armor.

So you're saying that weed being illegal isn't a bullstuff law, which implies that weed is dangerous to people around the user, since laws are meant for protection. What makes weed dangerous at all to people other than the user?

What makes weed so bad? Other than being illegal. Please, let me know.

No one has ever died from weed. Alcohol has a much worse effect than weed. Weed doesn't hurt anyone. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Weed. Maybe there should be an age restriction or something similar to that although we all know that doesn't do stuff. Weed should not be illegal, there's nothing morally wrong with it. You're an idiot.

I agree with alchohol being much worse than weed but a quick look at the wikipedia page does confirm that weed does have some harmful effects. Saying there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and that nobody has ever died or been hurt by it ever is a very ignorant thing to say.

I love how every time weed is brought up there is this huge weed vs. alcohol argument.

if some frequent smoker comes in here and says "nah brah aint nothin gonna happen to ya if ya smoke a bit of da ganja, mon"

the way it is now its essentially a gateway drug
maybe if it was legal it wouldnt be(?) but for now it serves to introduce people to all other kinds of drugs
