Personally, I hate the guy, his voice is annoying and hes one of the most stupid YouTube people out there. I could almost say I'm happy that I'm not going to see his videos anymore, but it doesn't surprise me that he was caught with so much, and that he smokes weed. He really does fit the persona for someone who smokes weed and plays video games all day.
I would imagine this isn't his first time dealing with drugs and police, so he could face
interesting charges:
Possession of any amount of marijuana (even a single marijuana cigarette) is punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of $1,000 on the first offense. The second offense carries a 15-day mandatory sentence, and can be extended for as long as two years in prison. Any possession after that gets a 90-day to three year prison term, and a $5,000 fine. (It should also be noted that distribution of a small amount of marijuana for no money is usually treated as simple possession.)
He won't serve any serious charges for the amount he holds, considering you need 50 kilos or more to face extreme charges, unless he is selling/distributing. In that case, he'd face the possibility of up to five years in prison with a $250,000 fine.
the way it is now its essentially a gateway drug
maybe if it was legal it wouldnt be(?) but for now it serves to introduce people to all other kinds of drugs
Although I don't fully agree with you quadilious, this can be very true and has happened to many people I know. It's all a matter of control, some people lose control and they step up in tastes. I had a friend who exclusively smoked weed occasionally, he slowly became obsessed and eventually tried bigger things including MDMA, DMT, LSD, and more.
People just don't know how to control themselves. if you can't handle it, don't do it.
