Author Topic: I want to destroy a computer, but I need help.  (Read 1847 times)

Hello, I'm asking if I could have some help destroying a virtualbox emulated PC with malicous programs and such for fun but, I need help though.
First, Every time I launch the Virtual Machine it just shows a command prompt esque screen saying something like "FATAL: No Bootable Medium Found" and such.
I tried googling it but nothing helped, also.
How do I turn of Shared Folders if it isn't already off by default?

Thanks for the help

"No bootable medium found" means it doesn't have anything to boot off of.
Either a misconfiguration, no OS installed, or OS already destroyed

Livestream it and make sure to include Bonzi Bu-

Well, I don't know anything about virtual machines, so I can't help you with that. Sorry.

Where can I download an ISO for it, and how? I know you should make a snapshop of it after you download it so you can restart easly.

I was actually going to download Bonzi just to see what I could do with him.

It's mainly used for offices and stuff but you can use it for your own purposes too.
and if you turn off shared folders the viruses won't affect the main host computer.

Windows XP.

You need the actual disc or a disc image to install it on the virtual machine.

By purchasing the operating system. You can't exactly just get a copy of Windows XP for free.

well that's down the stuffter. So how might you find the disc or disc image on your own OS?

By owning a physical copy of the disc or obtaining an image from Microsoft or Apple.
