Actually, I have, but usually of attacks on vehicles and buildings, not against individual people on foot.

The article itself says that CIA killed Foley because of the bombings, and there was another video of another hostage where the killer says that his life depends on Obama's next move. So, no, bombing isn't necessarily the best idea, gj in reading though.

Actually that video is a fairly old video from 2012. What actually see in the video is an Apache gunship engaging Taliban fighters, not CIA fighters.

You can tell its Afghanistan by the terrain. Iraq is fairly flat, while Afghanistan mostly is mountainous. Another thing to note is that CIA fighters usually dress in military fatigues and western clothing, whereas as Taliban fighters mostly robes and rags commonly found in Afghanistan.
