Not about the country's jobs and unemployment, nah forget that. Let's discuss the jobs YOU have.

I am currently jobless. I really want to get one so I can get a PS4, and just support myself. I don't own a home or anything, and besides the PS4, I don't plan on spending alot of money.

Im looking for one right now since I need them sweet shekels for life alot more than ever.

I was a paid custodial helper for 6 weeks this summer, and it was my first job ever, let alone paid job. I hated it, and I'll never do it again. It was one of the few jobs I could do for money since I'm below 16. When I turn 16, I want to work in a nursing home on weekends.

Been searching for a job for an entire year now. Submitted over 100 applications and had 2 interviews.

Holy crap, is it really that hard to get a job where you live? Where I live it isn't that impossible, but nevertheless it still is hard.

So at 16, you have more oppurtunities for jobs? Im 15 now, and this winter I plan on shoveling snow for neighbors with my friends to get some dough. Birthday is in January, so maybe then I can get one.

Yes. Everything is far apart so all the other people who got jobs before me took them all. I may have to drive 40-50mi round trip by the time I get one.

In my state (NY), I do. I was working with a program here for youth kids, like me. When I'm 16, I can legally work in some restaurants, stores, nursing homes, some animal shelters, and a few other places. Also do you just go door to door? I live in a very urban area, so there is nowhere for me to shovel sadly. I may try to become a paperboy for a year or two until I'm 18 or 19, and save up the money for college. Not sure if I'm legally allowed to though because of my age

Damn that looks like a load of fun, how much are you paid?

That sounds horrible, you'd probably be paying more on the gasoline than what you are being paid.

I would love to work as a CPU Designer or something similar.

Or a Programmer.

Lol, I live in New York, too. That's interesting, I didn't know that.

Are you in the city? If so I can give you more information on the program I was a part of. Also employers are very selective here, most don't hire 16 year old's.

Nah I don't live in the city, I'm in a little town in the Bronx. It's not the ghetto part though.

i get anywhere between 30-50 per trip, and i get up to 4 a day
