Author Topic: my house is threatening to collapse in some places  (Read 1260 times)

okay so I thought I should make this thread to let everyone know that I may be in danger of having my room fall through the floor (including my computer)

what's been happening is that the sink in the bathroom adjacent to my room has been leaking unnoticed for quite some time

enough time that parts of the hallway and my room are noticeably lower than the rest of the areas

this is definitely due to water damage because when my father and I were moving the dresser in the hallway two days ago (it was leaning like 20/30 degrees) to realign it, I noticed that the leg right next to my room had water

and when I went to change the cardboard we put in to realign the dresser, the cardboard was soaking wet

as for my bedroom, I noticed today that part of it is obviously lower than the rest (and colder and has a weird smell)

with the way the damage is now, we're probably looking to redo/fix the plumbing and fix and recarpet my floor (as well as fix/replace any damage below the house such as to the supports) which will most likely cost more than my family has, although I'm hoping that our insurance can cover it

what I'm planning on doing tomorrow is moving some things out of my room to lessen the weight until a repairman can come check everything out, although my house is very crowded and tiny already

”DONT MAKE ME DO IT”

” I'LL FALL ON YOU I SWEAR ON ME MUM”

That's what I took from the title, sorry lel

I'm sorry room, I'll promise to keep you clean next time :(

from the title, thought your house was the Smart House and was holding your family hostage in exchange for.... i dunno, a new water heater or something. on topic, that's terrifying and i hope your insurance does end up covering it. we caught one or two instances of water leakage in the walls early so we didn't sustain any damage.

Dont die jario! We still need "Real Trap stuff2"

that's scary
my old friend's house once had to have big metal beams installed because it would actually sway and the floors started to sink in their bathroom. i was glad i didn't live there tho because it made creepy noises all the time.

Please dont die Jairo we need you.
