Author Topic: Driving School  (Read 655 times)

I've been going through driving school, and I'm about to finish it up. Things I've completed so far:
- Completed ALL written tests
- Acquired DE-964 (Might be a Texas-only thing)
- Went to the DPS (pretty much Texas' Drivers License Office) and acquired my permit. Hooray!

In progress:
- Complete in-class sessions
- Complete some anti-drinking/driving thing that gets me 5% discount on my insurance

Not done yet:
- Driving times; both day and night.
- Hands-on lessons: I have to actually get behind the wheel

So, yeah. Kinda nervous.

Have fun, drivings a blast, and remember gas is an arm and a leg!

I'll probably not be paying for gas until I leave for college. But I probably will be paying for insurance.

Good luck.

I just had to walk into a license office, take a simple test to get the permit, drive for 40 hours (10 minimum night), and then take the driving test to get my license.

Ugh, just wait until pilot school. That took me forever.
jk, have fun

Pilot school sounds interesting to me but I wouldn't have any worthwhile reason for it.

That actually sounds really fun. My dad was a pilot, and I want to try flying too.

Driving is fun except for other drivers. The day I got my permit my mom took me on some back road to try driving.

Now next step is getting your motorcycle license :)

Wow really? All I needed was a 5 hour course then I could take my test. Ended up having my license a week after I turned 16

What's the No.1 Rule in Driving School? Don't die.
