Author Topic: Player-size Tower Bridge  (Read 5195 times)

The famous London landmark, the Tower Bridge, is now in Blockland. Based off the LEGO set. Built entirely by me, ChappersTeddy. And it took me long enough...

Front view in a DOF.

The side view.

The front in daytime, with my Blockhead as a size comparison.

P.S - the reason I did it in the scale of a Blockhead was because I wanted to focus more on the details than the scale.
Hope you like this build!

I like it but it's hard not to when we don't get a dl link!

Congratulations, you tried to pass off a lego kit as your own.

Bullstuff.

Looks fantastic! Great job!

I kinda have to agree with Furdle, it's not that hard to build something that has basic instructions on how to build.

looks faithful to the original I guess

It looks nice.

And Furdle, it's clearly not a direct copy of the Lego Set. It looks to just be a reference for sizing. There are places where he could clearly directly copy and still hasn't, for example the tower walkway is lower in his build than on the Lego Set. Plus his is one large walkway, rather than two thin ones.
You can't claim it's a copy on account of similarity, considering both this build and the set are based on a real life building.

What if he didn't use the instructions?

I don't see whats wrong with building a lego set.
