a day
my eyeballs hurt now
You will get used to it.

WAAAAAAY better than glasses.  Also did you get hard or soft lens?

ive had contacts over a year and im still irredeemably bad at putting them in

pretty easy to get out though, look straight at a mirror and just pull the contact down over the white of your eye and pinch it so it folds over in the middle

I am here to emphasize the importance of DOWN in your post.

Contacts are not that bad. Most of the time you forget they are there because you put them in right. They only hurt if they have a tear or lint.

Just remember to not sleep with them on, unless you have ones made specifically for it.

I'm scared of getting contacts incase they slip behind my eyes
this happened to my grandma and ever since i have stayed away from contacts

came here expecting op to be talking about his difficulties with adding friends numbers on his phone

i never tried contacts bc i always thought they would be nothing but a big hassle, and that glasses are easier to use

Yeah the sharp edges could slide around the side and sever your optic nerves causing extreme pain and blindness. Your eyes may also come out.

So just be careful with them.
thank you for steering me away from contacts forever.

Contacts are nowhere near bad.

Just check for a tear and make sure they aren't inverted before putting them in. Pull your eyelid down with your middle finger and put the contact in with your pointer finger. Cake.

Also story time: Once i was trying to pull a contact out and was literally squeezing my eye to pull it out. Did it for 10 minutes before I looked down and saw that I already took that one out. My eye was 90% red, yet it didn't hurt too much.

i tried adding my dad to my contacts but i couldnt stop blinking i kept missing the keys

The only way this is possibly is if you look up hard or push them up.

They are sized to fit the iris and comform to the shape, which is why when you put it on the whit of your eye it will usually go ontop of your iris.

he is joking

my vision has been steadily getting worse since i was around seven
contacts are the only thing that has at least halted my legal blindness

so im obviously all for it and wear them every day even if im staying home

My first contacts were not visual aid contacts but color changer one thingies, for Halloween. Got them for free too (insurance covered it, ikr). They were a pain in the ass the first day, but after practicing a stuffton I got the hang of it. The only bothersome part was when they began to burn my eyes a little.
