Author Topic: AT&T is throttling my internet again.  (Read 834 times)

Yup, again. Now I can't go hardly ten minutes without having my internet cut out for a few minutes, and then the same thing happens over and over and over and over. Annoying as hell, and I hope the issues don't persist.

do you have some kind of bandwidth cap on your plan?

At least it's not comcast
No
You cannot compare Comcast to AT&T
COMCAST IS BETTER THAN THE AT&T SERVICE HERE

Sorry to hear. When we had Time Warner the problem was similar.

Maybe it's a problem with some of the network hardware at AT&T? I have AT&T and we never get throttled. In fact, our internet is actually pretty good, despite having only 12mbps

my internet used to get throttled regularly.
then, i changed my DNS to google's DNS. it was calculated to be 400% better than my previous DNS.

try this, it's what i used and it worked great.

I have a smaller local ISP and it has a data limit of 250GB for peak hours which kinda sucks. I just plan all my downloading around it and it's alright. It's a little too expensive for the stuffty upload speeds but it's this or some real stuff DSL.

specifically the TV receiver in my room will not work or connect

i will elaborate if needed

Get charter internet.

I can only wish for fiber optic

throttling is weird cus going full throttle is like super fast yet throttling also means strangle
