Author Topic: evil games  (Read 1863 times)

Mobile gaming has been a thing for a reeeaaallly long time, and since then they tend to get better.
Most mobile game companies rely on quality to make their game the best out there, but some do other things.

Games like Candy Crush, Bejeweled, and other tile matching/addicting games are deliberately made so you play and pay.

They are programmed to activate genes and sensors to make you want more and more, making you pay more to play more. Candy Crush is a great example of this.

I'm not blaming Candy Crush for this though, because many other boring tile matching games exist,
but it's evil, if you think about it.

It's almost like "hacking" into your genetic code and making you pay money to the developers.

since when did bejeweled make you pay

You can never force someone to buy something,

But companies will do the dirtiest tricks just so you will buy it

since when did bejeweled make you pay

bejeweled blitz
pay for special gems to get on the scoreboards
annoy you about them so you buy them
but only annoy you about them when you lose a game

the thing that makes games addictive is when they're "unwinnable"
in bejeweled there's no end to a game until you lose
making you want more

They are programmed to activate genes and sensors to make you want more and more, making you pay more to play more.
That moment when you use stuff you learned from GameTheory here because you think nobody can just watch the video instead. Put a link in the op with the video. He explains it better than you are currently.

his little accent or caricature or whatever the hell he does with his voice has always really loving bugged me

he reminds me of jerma/star in that regard

not to mention that absolutely EVERYONE takes his guesses as being the actual facts of the game (eg people going around in tf2 saying pyro is indeed 100% no doubt a gay man or that majora's mask was just a really hard acid trip or that mario is totally a communist)
