Author Topic: ROBLOX is getting raided by some stuffty team  (Read 3468 times)

If they have to rewrite everything to add something extremely important, then their programming language is not good enough.
No, the community-made scripts had to be rewritten. Clearly they didn't program their prevention good enough.

11/10 DDos prevention award goes to ROBLOX!

they still haven't patched this since years ago when it was first discovered?

Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDoS) Definition. A denial of service (DoS) attack is a malicious attempt to make a server or a network resource unavailable to users, usually by temporarily interrupting or suspending the services of a host connected to the Internet.

it ain't a ddos m8

roblox's fault for having the stufftest exploit/hacking protection ever
you remind me of those guys on their forums who constantly stuff on a thread whenever "hacking" is mentioned. they keep correcting it with "exploiting" when its actually not and its infuriating

wat
the difference between a DDoS and a DoS is that a DDoS usually takes more than one IP to do

to take down a website of robloxes size you would need a botnet of PCs or something, this IS a DDoS

guys help its not showing my recently played games OH NO
holy stuff thumbnails are not showing up and no games are showing up damnit

I uh
other than the fact that you apparently misunderstood what they were saying, that's not really how programming works
you could be writing in PHP or JavaScript or Python or whatever, but there still won't be any magical way to make nothing depend on anything else...

it's ironic that hacking also happened before this incident

some guy I forget the name of hacked Work at a Pizza Place

Roblox really doesn't have much defense because their community is huge and the moderators and admins are utter stuff who don't really do much so I'm not surprised that its being hacked by a bunch of twats but the question is why in all places do you hack roblox? loving hell have you read the news? you would hack the CIA's twitter or some stuff like that not a loving kids game

EDIT: just logged onto roblox and it took me to some yahoo search, its glitching like forget, jesus christ .
EDIT 2: now its just not responding and I am taking to a "problem loading page" error. Its now officially completely down
EDIT 3: sorry but now I am logged in

I just tried logging in, Doesnt work at all. the main page is up but i cant log in or anything

omg someone b usin Roblox tool that teski made someone cal polis

I am not surprised. ROBLOX patches most exploits by changing variable names, considering most hacks are based off of the hacker remembering variable names and other things. They are very lazy either way.
You can do the following with cheat engine (not sure if patched or not):
-Speedhack (very easy)
-Edit your scores (very easy)
-Inject scripts (fairly easy)
-Crash the server (EXTREMELY EASY)
-Much more
