Of old age in their sleep, at least.
I had another cat a few years ago who died of old age too, they were brothers.
Named Bert and Ernie (my mom many many many years ago named them after the sesame street characters)
If you're wondering, Ernie is the one who died today.
He lived about 20 years, which is very long for a cat. (96 in human years)
On the bright side, they're both together now.
On a brighter side, at least I still have a dog. (I think she's realizing what's going on)
RIP Ernest P. Kitty, you will be missed. :( (Yes that's what my mom called him sometimes)
