got a toshiba satellite 15.6" so yeah i can actually do stuff now, like play blockland

with intel mobile hd graphics? funny

What are the specs?
off the top of my head:
amd a4-6210 apu with amd radeon r3 graphics
6gb ram
750gb hdd
windows 8.1 64 bit

p.s. its not for gaming its for schoolwork and maybe a few games here and there

you dont need good video hardware for blockland so long as you disable shaders.
a laptop can run it just fine based on cpu and ram alone

yeah im playin right now and its going fine

toshiba satellites seriously have the worst build quality ever in my experience. after a year or two the hinges will probably start popping out and the case of the laptop will start breaking. if you can I'd suggest extending the warranty.

Bullstuff, I have a toshiba satellite and it runs battlefield 4 med settings with shaders on low. I take good care of it, and it's 4 years old. Maybe the one you had sucked cause mine has nothing wrong with it, it also has a NVidia graphics card, and the only problem I have with it is that it overheats but doesn't turn off. (Ordered a laptop cooling fan for it, and it's going to arrive on the 6th of sept)

I wasn't saying toshiba satellites cannot have good specs, but the satellite I've owned for 4 years has had the power adapter break (the part that you plug the charger into, not the charger itself), the hinges break the plastic casing covering them, it's lost multiple screws, and the whole body bends now if it's not on a flat surface. As you can probably guess I don't use it any more, but I used to use it quite a bit. I wasn't rough with it at all, just regular wear and tear ended up breaking it like that. I'm sure if you just leave your laptop on your desk or wherever most of the time you won't run into these problems, but I would carry it around regularly.

I've got a toshiba satellite and had it for 4 years, nothing wrong with it apart from the fact that its starting to get outdated hardware-wise. No build problems whatsoever.

Brickman likes it rough ;)

Did your school give it to you? If so, check for keyloggers and other things of the sort.
