Formally Starting Up A Youtube Channel

So I've been beating around the bush for a very long time with the intention of doing stuff with my speaking abilities for a while now and decided it was finally time to actually put forth the effort into creating some proper content on Youtube with it, having no idea where to start I made this quick intro video: http://youtu.be/brVfEaeXcno both to guide myself and sorta ask around anyone who watches it what I should be doing.

I figured I'd also ask the forums since I will likely not be getting very many responses for that video on youtube itself. Whata you guys think I should start with?

There likely won't be any Minecraft lol, I haven't touched that game for a while; its just not very fun. It's essentially a game template and has not graduated from that title since the beginning.

make things like this as you apparently used to but with better quality video/effects/sound, get eksi-famous, and then you'll actually have something to be famous about
~OR~ make stupid letsplays of blockland (assuming that's one direction it'll go) and nobody will remember them maybe a few days later

I literally have no idea why that video was so popular; I mean I guess its been out for a solid 3 years but still, its such an oddball for the very few things I actually put on youtube up until this point. But I doubt my channel will be very dedicated to one or two specific things.
