i am using steam blockland as my main (i also use the old installation for dedis) and whenever i open steam blockland /title happens, when i try and start a gamemode blockland says im in demo mode, probably cant authenticate for whatever reason... im just wondering, why cant i connect through steam right now? is the master server being ddos attacked? am i overlooking some handicapped overlooked reason? (i really have no idea how the steam blockland authenticates)

just let me know if you have had this problem/ are having this problem, and how to fix it.

Start Blockland, then open up the console using the ~ key. Then type in auth_Init_Client();

Be sure your firewall isn't blocking Blockland.

Be sure your firewall isn't blocking Blockland.

nope :/

Nedit: just realised how uninformitave that pic was... Here u go

Try running it in Administrator Mode? Also be sure to check in outbound part of your firewall too, because that looks like Windows 7

there is no mention of blockland in the outbound for whatever reason, outbound seems to be filled with system junk.  also since this blockland is running through steam the Run as administrator option is not present when i right click the icon, is there any way around that?

No idea, I hardly use Steam at all, let alone to play Blockland.

lol thats ok, thanks for trying tho, im currently binge downloading every song on this Pandora station, but later ill try restarting my computer and see if its one of those kinds of problems.. :P

SOLVED: Sproxy (the client i use to download Pandora as it streams) was hogging all my ports for some reason, and just needed to be closed... lame lol i guess we weren't so off topic after all when we were talking about downloading music...

It hogs all the ports? Weird.
