Author Topic: Other Blockland modding sites?  (Read 1984 times)

(Using your logic) I guess there is no need for Steam Workshop support then, even though it would be convenient, and great to have mirrors.  :cookieMonster:
Steam Workshop would be functional, it would reintegrate add-on downloading into the game like RTB did.
Another website for add-ons would serve no such purpose.

Other websites would be functional aswell, I mean we have GameFront, FileFront, ModDB, Desura, NexusMods, and Steam Workshop which are great places for sharing User-Created game content.
It would be GREAT to have more options. What is so wrong with that?

This may not be what you're specifically looking for, OP, but please read this:

It contains many useful links.

Mostly for games that don't or didn't have their own modding depositories. Which does not apply to Blockland.

It would not. Decentralizing where add-ons are makes it more difficult for people to find add-ons and makes it more difficult for people to release them without being uncertain of who will see what where/giving us the hassle of releasing on multiple sites.

There is no need for anything other than the add-ons board, save the Workshop which we already went over.

Steam Workshop has even worse organization than the forums.

What's worse organization than "one board?" Also, why does it matter?

Here's how you should have made the OP:

Hey, i was wondering, if there were other forums where i can post and find add-ons in a more organized manner?

And advertising other forums is against the rules

There are five different boards.

Categorized and tagged addons would be nice.  The board is more for discussion, but keeping track of old addons and finding old addons and being able to browse them does not work well with the board.  It's only good if you know specifically what you want.
