All my resource storage and collectors plus all my defenses are within level 6 or higher walls.
My TH is at the corner completely unprotected
When I start getting too much of a resource (usually gold), I either spend it or revert to my farming variation. I keep my town hall next to the walls, but guarded with bombs, a tesla, and my king. Enough to keep some people away so I don't lose trophies as fast, but those who do go for it will try to get my gold and be sorely disappointed when their troops explode in my funneling technique.
They usually will get at least one of my gold storages, but they can't access the next one without walking over my level 3 giant bombs, which will immediately wipe out anything good for looting. Those that can survive one explosion are usually just troops that ignore the storages to target defenses.
