Author Topic: what software set do you use?  (Read 3075 times)

I use Krita to edit my images, it works out great. I also use Photoscape because it's p good. I also use picresize to resize my images. I use FL Studio to make music, REAPER to make mixes.

I use Sony Vegas as my primary video editing software.

So, /go.

i use microsoft office powerpoint for making games

MS paint for drawing
sublime text 3 as a text editor
CCleaner and malwarebytes to remove stuff on my computer
audacity for audio editing
OBS for recording
WLMM for video editing

photoshop cs5 for image editing (it's easier to get around than gimp)
dreamweaver cs5 for html editing (if it actually worked on os x yosemite)
audacity for sound editing (mostly just trimming sounds and recording via line-in)
imovie for video editing (it serves its purpose for light editing, which is what i do)
filezilla for ftp (it's not the best, but it works pretty well)
the unarchiver for decompressing files with extensions that aren't .zip/.tar.gz (such as .rar, .7z, etc)

if you haven't caught on yet i'm using a mac

paint.net or GIMP or photoshop or inkscape for images
audacity for pretty much anything related to audio other than listening to it
for listening to audio I either use the default windows thing or VLC
VLC is also my video player
irfanview for viewing files that aren't video or audio
for text I use notepad++ and I also have dreamweaver but I don't really use it
I don't really do much of the stuff the Microsoft Office programs are for, but if I did, I would use those
and for web browsing I use chrome

can't really think of anything else

Vim for text editing (sometimes sublime text)
The gimp for exactly what you think
Thunar if I'm not in the mood to use a terminal
OpenSSH because putty ain't stuff
And finally to bring it all together, i3 wm with URXVT as my terminal

GIMP for visual stuff
Audacity for audio stuff
Sony Movie Studio for video stuff
Chrome for browsing
And Windows 8 (that's technically software right, an OS is software?)

Paint.net for image stuff
Audacity for audio stuff
Notepad for text
Notepad++ for scripts
openMPT for special audio stuff
OBS for screencap
After Effects for video stuff
Clover for file browsing
ReviverSoft's start menu reviver for when I accidentally press the start button

Quite a long list you have there.
sometimes i use mac. but only at school.
