All the Twins icons are backwards.

gg

The Twins are also so far back that it is literally impossible for them to even pick up a wild card compared to the number of games left.

LA Angels are the first team to clinch the playoff berth. Baltimore and Washington have the potential to follow today.

aggh, come on Cardinals, you need that pennant!

Baltimore's magic number is at 1 and Washington's is at 2.

Baltimore must either win a game OR lose a game with a Blue Jays loss as well to clinch AL East.
Washington must win a game with a Braves loss (Nats are playing Braves anyway, so a win will award them NL East crown).

Other magic numbers:

Detroit - 12
LA Angels (division crown) - 3
St Louis Cardinals - 10
Los Angeles Dodgers - 9

The Dodgers have clinched playoff berth with a 14-5 victory over the Cubs.

Updated Magic #s:

Detroit Tigers - 9
St Louis Cardinals - 7
Los Angeles Dodgers - 7

Teams that have not yet been completely eliminated from playoff run:

American League:

Los Angeles Angels (clinched AL West division)
Baltimore Orioles (clinched AL East division)
Detroit Tigers (leading AL Central)
Kansas City Royals (wildcard 1)
Oakland Athletics (wildcard 2)
Seattle Mariners (.5 game behind wildcard) - WCE# = 10
Cleveland Indians (4.5 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 6
New York Yankees (4.5 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 6
Toronto Blue Jays (6.5 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 4

National League:

Washington Nationals (clinched NL East division)
Los Angeles Dodgers (leading NL West division)
St Louis Cardinals (leading NL Central division)
San Francisco Giants (wildcard 1, +1.5 game lead over wildcard 2)
Pittsburgh Pirates (wildcard 2)
Milwaukee Brewers (4.5 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 5
Atlanta Braves (7.0 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 3
Miami Marlins (9.0 games behind wildcard) - WCE# = 1

Come on Cards, just a couple more weeks, of that!

Not even that long. Brewers are almost completely gone being 7 games out; Pirates are on a massive win streak that has gotta break sometime.

Today is the final day of regular season play. The final AL wildcard will be decided (between Oakland and Seattle) and the 20 underdog teams will be done until April 2015. I'll update with postseason schedule once i have access to a computer.
