GIIIIIAAAAANTS!!!!!!!!
rude much?

It's been over 30 years since the Royals last won. It's been what, a few for the giants? This was huge for KC. :(

Giants now match the Cardinals with the three alternating World Series titles.

Cardinals: 1942, 1944, 1946
Giants: 2010, 2012, 2014

Yeah, but when the Cardinals took the Rangers in 2011, we robbed them of the crown twice with one strike left. The Rangers have never won the World Series since their debut in 1972.

I'm not even a Royals fan. I just can't stand to see teams that don't need any more victories take it from a team that literally the entire country minus San Fransico was rooting for.

we're not the yankess or the dodgers, where all of our players are on the juice, it's the world series. we didn't steal stuff, we just won fair and square.

I'd be bitter if we lost, totally, but to say that we shouldn't have won? ridiculous concept.

When did I say you shouldn't have won? I said I can't stand to see it.

YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS

Last night, I remembered I had a Giants shirt. If I had not found it this morning we probably would've lost. GO GIANTS

okay i did misread that

that quote was richardish tho

TOPO (The OP Opinion):

Both World Series participant teams had to take on overwhelming odds to make it to where they did. Both teams came chugging in underneath the big names by scraping up the wildcards.

The Royals easily powered through the ALDS and ALCS with sound defeats on the Angels and Orioles, the two American League game leaders. They put up a big fight through the World Series and impressed the baseball world, but in the end, they could never solve Madison Bumgarner.

The Giants have backup reserves of playoff experience. Their bullpen, Hunter Pence, and Madison Bumgarner were tough against any opposition. In my opinion, they had the stuff to get the World Series crown, and am not surprised that it ended this way.

Good game, San Francisco.

YES!!

Both teams played really well. The Royals are a great team. They played hard and tried their best. If it wasn't for Bumgarner, they probably would've won.
