ya so i was holding it and tossing it, then i missed the catch and it landed so the screen hit the very corner of my bed frame. it broke the screen so i cant use it at all. luckly i have my old galaxy s 1 and my simcard works in it so ill just use that as a back up for now.

discuss broken and cracked phones i guess

I don't have a phone. I have no reason to.

Should know better not to toss it, not to be rude. I did break my phone once because it dropped down the stairs, because I was tossing it around too.

That sucks. What kind of phone?

Also, I probably shouldn't flip mine like that anymore...

you must be used to breaking phones then
nope, this is the first time ever that a mistake i made ended up in the phone breaking lol

i don't have a cellphone, but i do have a white ds that has fallen from the top of a bunk bed onto a concrete / cement floor and didn't break

the thing had to have fallen multiple times on sidewalks and crap for years and the thing still works, the screen just doesn't lock anymore

i have a crappy phone

i only use it after school

I recently cracked the bottom right corner of my S3. I did the same thing with my first S3. It hit the ground on the very corner of the phone where the glass meets the frame and cracked. This one isn't bad though. Its been over a year anda half with no case. It ddoesn't go across the screen itself much, only the back button. Everything still works perfect though, I think I can wait until February for my upgrade.

My phone, Nokia Lumia 521, I was really rough with it until the case broke, not I don't move when I use that.

I've had two phones over four years. Neither have even gotten a nick in them.

The only phone that I have truly broken to the point where it has to be replaced and the cost to repair outweighs a new phone was with my Nokia Lumia 928.  I owned it a full year then I shattered it's LCD screen by dropping it getting out of my car in a parking lot.  It survived 8 solid drops some in parking lots others on random occasions, but it could still make calls and do that stuff, but the screen was dead for good.  The glass on the phone was fine and the only structural damage was to the plastic frame was bent out of place by the camera button.

Ended up just using my mom's upgrade and got a G2 out of it.
