ok, so I work at my mom's store, just getting that out of the way. we have a downstairs shopping area and an upstairs display area or whatever. we were closing the upstairs, and she wanted me to stand at the bottom of the stairs and open the gate for people leaving from upstairs. there was a group of people, (a dad and 3 young kids), who had been shopping downstairs for around 2 hours. he went upstairs and told his two kids to stay downstairs, meaning they were unsupervised. the EMPLOYEES had to watch these 3 young children while they were running around and screaming, and we only had 2 employees working downstairs. one of the kids actually ran out of the store into the loving street. so yeah the employees had to watch this fat forgets children while he looks around upstairs. finally the employees tell me to close the gate and keep the kids in the stairwell with for now. the kids screamed and punched at me to let them out while i had to keep explaining that their dad was upstairs and to just stay here until he's done. they run upstairs and start knocking stuff off walls and then they come back down into the stairwell and start throwing stuff at me. they persisted that "OUR DADDY SAID UH TO FOR US TO GO UHM DOWNSTAIRS". i'm loving confused at this point, so I lean out the gate halfway and yell to one of the employees what to do. meanwhile the little forgets are banging and pulling on the gate, trying to get out. like loving 25 minutes later the dad finally decides to comeback downstairs and oh my loving god what a terrible father. he looked like a fat forget that got shat out from lower new york. i have a video of them loving around on the stairs and stuff but idk i'll upload it some other time
