Author Topic: Changing default chat font  (Read 1383 times)

I'd like to change the typeface for my chat UI from Palatino Linotype to MS PGothic. How would one do so, and how would I do the same with other elements of the UI if need be?

I don't mess around with stuff like this, because i tend to break the game packaging important stuff. But i'm guessing you would make a package, in it copy over the chat mechanic entirely and edit the font there through some code magic.

I know that TheBlackParrot made a cool mod quite a while ago that let's you customize your chat in all kinds of ways. I tried searching a lot but couldn't find the topic. So here's my copy of the mod:

No edit: To change the chat with that mod, just go to Options and click the Chat Settings button.

i want mine with no add-ons

i want mine with no add-ons

Umm
That's
Not possible

Just use the thing jes posted, it's not that hard

That's extremely backwards. So instead have it neatly organized in an add-on folder, you would like to jump through ten hoops to implement it to your base folder, where you can easily forget about it or forget where it is. Just use the add-on

NOEDIT: looking at some other posts, i'm pretty sure he is an alt of some stupid person and is acting like a noob to convince people

I found this while searching the users of the forums:

To be fair, this profile was registered today it seems, and has no active posts that I see.

So this may or may no count as an alt.

Seems to fit the name of the person/thing being referenced in his signature:
