right right. So because they have the label "rebels" this means we need to spend our money and resources on their war efforts.

Rebels don't come home in coffins draped with American flags.

True, they generally have their own funeral proceedings that happen back home. Again this whole thing sounds like a huge waste of money.

We're gaining a lot by this. Instead of spending money to give our soldiers guns, we spend the same amount of money to give rebels guns. Those rebels don't request pay and we don't have to sacrifice our own soldiers, while they desperately need the resources that we would've been using on our military anyway.

Thank you.

Yeah but we technically don't have the money. Which is funny when i was saying waste money earlier.  :cookieMonster:

This whole thing is a clever repeat of the George Bush tactic.

Not quiet.

If it was a true repeat, troops would be sent their and War on Terror 2.0 would kick off for another 12 years. Like I said, rebels don't come home in coffins draped with American flags, we're coming out of a war that accomplished nothing. It would really be a bad move to send in more of our troops.

Nations' debts don't work in the same way your debt does. The US is obviously a wealthy nation and they can spend the money on it. Whether they have said money is a really complicated question and I'll leave it at that, although obviously debt is a bad thing.

I'm not especially knowledgeable about that, but for one we're not risking our own soldiers in Iraq, and two...
Not quiet.

Not quite.*
I dunno man, seems like he's feeding off a crCIA to make things look good. Its not about whether or not we're sending our soldiers in or not. Its the whole concept and agenda behind the big move on the chess board.

Let me paraphrase this post:
"yeah i know it's completely different from what bush did but that's aside the point because politics!!!"

If this was an attempted answer on a school test you'd get an F. lol.

Bush: using a crCIA to make himself look good

Obama: using a crCIA to make himself look good

this doesn't seem all that different to me.

the difference is that obama is black and he can do no wrong

also there was an attack on US territory that started it before.

Or to protect the American people from a terror threat.

One can easily perceive this during the Bush administration as well.

Sure, that may be a personal motivation, but what is physically happening in the Middle East is totally different. I'm sure both of them thought of that and is part of why they did it, but from a solve-the-problem-with-CIA viewpoint, they're different approaches.
