"The video, which has gone viral after being shared on multiple sites, appears to show a female student, Ixel Perez, being held on the ground by three police officers at Sam Houston High School. Perez was screaming loudly in the video as the officers restrained her, and one of them appeared to have put his knee on her head.

Perez said it all started because she refused to give her cellphone to an assistant principal who demanded it. She said the only reason she disobeyed the order is because she was concerned about her disabled mother."

I'm a little skeptical as to why the police reacted the way they did (I'm not sure if we're getting the whole story) but just, holy stuff.

Obviously they thought she was going to blow up the school by pushing a button on her phone

No doubt we aren't being given the whole story, but I can't think of any scenario that would require three cops to tackle such a little girl. Maybe if she were carrying drugs or some sort of weapon but that's hella far-fetched.

This.

The media is just trying to milk out a story.

That's how to restrain someone. Putting your knee on their face stops them from getting up + lets the person know you're dominating the forget out of them.
Rather apologise to a girl for a false arrest than having a whole school blown up.
'merica.

stupid bitch sould've listened

This is what I dislike most about these kinds of stories. No doubt police brutality is real, but a lot of these kinds of scenarios could've been prevented had the victim just complied with the police's request. Arguing always makes things worse. This story might be an exception, but my point still stands.

Police have to be strict, otherwise people would get away with stuff. Yeah there is times where police are too brutal, but this is not one of them.

Police don't go that hard unless she was doing something more than the story is telling like resisting arrest.

Okay so say this girl has got some real forgeted up issues and decided to go all jihad on her school, put a few bombs in places then blew up part of the school and killed 50+ people, then obviously people would be like "why didnt the police release what she was doing blah blah"
This is just typical america, I'm glad I don't live in a country where kids get blown up, shot and stabbed in school.

That's a horrible, completely non-applicable example. This scenario is (as far as we know) over her pulling out her cell phone in class.
