What

Holy stuff this looks amazing. Can't wait for it to be finished.
Btw are you going to make it a vehicle or a playertype?

If its a rocket mech, it coud use some antenna.
I'm not sure how this makes sense, but ok... If I do put antenna on it, they'll be short and stubby for durability's sake.

Playertype. In general, it'll be easier to work with, far less glitchy, and much easier to implement certain features such as jump jets.

Yay :)
I was hoping it would be a playertype

More progress!

Pipe/guardrail thingy? Also, antenna.

Beveling that much because I've found sharp corners don't tend to look as good in-game as bevel edges do. There will still be some normal edges, don't worry.

Fun fact: everything except the thrusters and gimbals has been made from a single object without any disconnected faces.

Cool GIF! Animating has begun!

Would it be possible to put a clone of the player inside?

I was thinking like how the rc biplane has a mini player inside it could you do that?

Well, yeah, it'll be a playertype vehicle, so the player will simply sit inside. That was to be expected. However, for people outside, it won't matter, because the windshield will be opaque, not see-through.

Also, with a neat coding trick, I'm going to make the right click usable for secondary weapons by making the client's control object the mech itself.
