Author Topic: Norse Mythology Build  (Read 7037 times)

This is a very large build. It has 256000 bricks.

here is the save, to explore. https://www.mediafire.com/?xb56655ermn56ti
completely default, with default colorset.

Inprogress

Completed

Uncompleted Sections, Though technically they are all uncomplete.

Look the last brick placed!

What does this build have?
100 chests, trivial, to extremely challenging
Soccer field, and Basketball court.
An extremely difficult jump challenge.
A ski hill.
Two Cities.
A town.
Two Fortresses.
Two mountain Ranges. Uncompleted.
Four viking longboats.
Large cave systems. Uncompleted.
Various water systems.
Plenty of other things at various stages of completion.

Some notes.
3000 bricks per hour average. So about 100 hours in work.
Started Spring 2013.
Dandodey's (3050) placed three thousand bricks.
Radioactive built the walrus and the seal with the monocle.
If you are adventuring and come across a door that needs a red key, bust it down in anyway you see fit. There is no spawn for the rare red key just yet.
As for chests, my record is 80. And I hid most of them.

What you should do.
Download the file, load it in Blockland using the default colorset.
If you want to experience the adventure, just start a minigame, no items, no jets. Walk around. Don't die.
Please upload pictures on this thread of places you think are cool.

What I am doing.
Relaxing
Lower brick count a little by taking out 'spammy' bricks.
Work on bots and events.

Once again, this is the link to the bls file.

i have a hidden weakness for castles/fortresses. Gad damn son, this is fantastic. I'm very pleased.

AMUZING

Although I dont like how the terrain goes from flat to steep in some areas, but thats just me.

holy loving stuff , is it finished now?

can I use this anywhere?

can I use this anywhere?
yes
Using it for a game mode, (other then a multiplayer adventure) would be, unwieldy at best. It wasn't designed to be any particular gamemode.

holy loving stuff , is it finished now?
Yes. I mean what else is there to do? If I can continue it, that is brick count doubling again, I will.

very good use of default; surprisingly the colorset doesn't seem garishly bad.
only gripe is cliff terrain could use occasional, sparse layers of snow or grass, but that's just a personal preference (since it makes grey walls look less flat)
the tower in the first pic is a+, castle too.
