Author Topic: i'm buying a gamecube  (Read 1817 times)

I bought my copy for $50, sadly I lost my original. This copy is in fantastic condition however and you could probably get one in okay shape for $30 I'd think.
jeez... that IS a lot. why's it so expensive?

how "hella expensive"?

The only copy of Melee I could find online in good condition was $185. Even though I can afford it, I'm not forking over nearly $200 for a game that I can just walk to my friend's house to play.

It's popular, they don't make them anymore and the competitive community with it is still strong. I don't believe it ever dropped below $20 when they still produced them and they are still in high demand. If I offered my copy for say $40 I'm sure it'd be bought in an instant.

Edit: https://99gamers.com/gamecube/super-smash-bros-melee/62 this is where I bought mine and probably the cheapest place to buy old games.
