What needs replacing? Is the damage just cosmetic or did the impact reach the engine?

no idea yet, insurance people just towed it to a shop and they are looking at it tomorrow.
it was leaking something massive, so i assume its more then frame and fenders. but that dosnt mean its totaled.

worst case, i get a new one. though that color electric blue was exclusive to that model and year. and i liked it. new evos all have black or white. lame AF.
i would prob get em repainted right off the lot lol

Yeah that sounds pretty bad. I don't know much about placement of fluids and I'm sure it varies by car, but it sounds almost like it started leaking coolant from the radiator being in the front of the engine bay.

Might have been coolant. With how bad you said the front end damage was I wouldn't doubt the radiator cracked.
