If not, if you had a gun, would you have shot it to end it's misery?
That happened to the second deer my parents hit back in 1997 or 1998. I think I was a toddler and my dad hit a deer in his demo from the car dealership he worked at in South St Louis County. The deer's legs were broken and it dragged itself away, so my dad told the people who owned the property and they hunted it down and shot it.
