yeah its a good card, but i'd recommend going for the r9 280's or higher if youre able to get them.

I have a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 670 and it has had water spilled on to it twice now and seems to work better after every time.

well I have a Gigabyte hd 7950 and it hasn't melted yet like AMD cards usually do (I even have it overclocked and its never overheated) so I would say gigabyte is fine
