What is Vocaloid?

Who makes them?
many companies produce "Voices" but the "Vocaloid" is owned by the "Yamaha" corporation.

What are some of the more famous voices?

Hatsune Miku Kagamine Rin & Len Megurine Luka

Meiko Kaito

Gumi Megpoid Gackpoid

Eh, my thread was more about the characters themselves than the software. I'm not into Vocaloid enough to make a decent thread anyway.

It's funny listening to songs with English lyrics since Vocaloids are designed for Japanese so it still sounds like another language

Pandan was Len for one year and then he was Miku for another year.

Yea the time he was len was ok, but hopefully nobody finds the pictures of him as Miku as they were...well you can guess.
