Author Topic: I might have lymphoma.  (Read 939 times)

So, recently I've noticed that I've been sweating a lot at night, accompanied by what I believe is pretty high temperature. I didn't think much of it before, but this has been going on for quite a while, almost a year now. Now, more recently this has been accompanied by a few swollen lymph nodes here and there, but most noticeably the submandibular glands under my jaw. I'm going to the doctor sometime soon, but I'm so loving scared, guys. I've had two relatives die of cancer this year, and I really don't want to be the next one, I'm only 19.

Wait for what the doctor says, you might be worrying for no reason.

I sure as forget hope so, man. In retrospect the night sweats and other swollen lymph nodes could be caused by anxiety. I'm not usually a hypochondriac but when stuff seems serious I start to worry A LOT. I've had no other symptoms other than the swollen nodes, probable high temperature and the night sweats.

Night sweats + gland swellings are the symptoms of some forms of lymphoma. You probably don't have it because it's more likely that you have night sweats because of some kind of infection causing fever. Or it might just be anxiety.

Either way, you'll probably get it biopsied and you'll know for sure.

Been watching cannabis closely in the medical field, seems to be showing promising results. The cannabis oil is what you want. If you do have it talk to doctors to see if there are any trials.

You should really see a doctor about that.

get well soon  :panda:
It's really hard to take you seriously with that avatar.

remember that youre not a doctor and the internet is just a tool with a massive margin for human error

dont diagnose yourself, and dont fret so much over a self-diagnosis. im sure youll be fine

I hope you get better soon.

Actually I'm being overly harsh at you, sorry

I hope you're okay though

Terrible advice. If you do have cancer(and you probably don't) seek chemo and radiation therapy at the direction of an oncologist.
