there's no detention in elementary

also my school is literally across the street
just cross the road, go through the fence door, and boom welcome to school


but in my old school that isn't the one across the street was absolute peril
like come on
I get in a fight with someone, he tries to punch me or something, I block him over and over because he just keeps doing the same thing and he gets no punishment but I get to stay in for the whole lunch break.
Come on.
I hate that.

Their logic is that it doesn't matter who's doing what, who started it, or where and when it happened, it's just the defender gets the punishment.

But the principal was a really good man there. He let us into the computer lab every lunch and recess and we got to code random stuff. I introduced him to this game and we got to play it as well. In the computer room. Good times.

The only time I was in detention was the first week of Year 7. I didn't do my science homework (forgot or some bullstuff), so we got into class and the teacher gave me a loving Wednesday Afternoon (you stay after the bell rings for an extra hour).

And from that point forward, I never did homework again, and I never got busted on it.

I should note that, in 6th grade and all the grades before, I was a huge troublemaker, getting into detention all the time. It was in 7th grade where I grew a frontal lobe and decided not to get in trouble.

closest thing was that once when i was in kidnergarden i was punched in the face, i was sent to the principals office

i still dont understand why - the kid punched me and i was sent to the office. ?????

i heard my mother one day say assface so  i called a kid in my school assface so he told on me and they sent a note home and laughed
they told me not to use it though

at my school we get sent to detention for not having name tags

also if your uniform logo isnt showing, detention.
nametag is backwards, detention.

The only thing I really got in trouble for was when an starfish kid pretended to trip in front of me in PE.

i got detention for 3 hours in 5th grade because I didn't hand in one assignment
also got detention all day for missing a few assignments but I skipped school

I got 'detention' once for not doing homework during middleschool.

I got actual detention once during high school for skipping a spirit rally.
I preferred the detention over going half-deaf, and skipped the next 6 rallies anyways. Not caught, though.
