kaitas were ugly as forget (but i have to admit they did sort of get the point across pretty well that "you can take these guys apart and combine them with other guys!")

Ok so the Kaita weren't the greatest, but in 2004 there were more creative combinations like the Krahli and the Kraahu.

Muaka and Kane-Ra set was the only set that came with them IIRC, otherwise you could get them in older "grab bins" of pieces at a Legoland (which they phased out for the neon green Miru)

Speaking of Gali, her 2015 figure looks very ... Masculine. Are they retconning her as a guy? :-/

i just noticed this too, she(?) has more squared, male pectorals rather than like, breasts, i mean i guess the latter would be p akward but.... just make her flat like every other damn time. if gali is gonna be retconned for a guy then damn, im getting off this train.

She looks like she's made from the same molds and pieces as the rest of the toa. Just like she always has. There's never been anything obviously feminine about her (in the sets).
