I wanna see how they do the bohrok
(Those rolly things with the masks under their head)

dog the new building style all you like, that kopaka is forgetin bad ass.
The mask looks forgetin poop, it's way too huge and the optical cluster is way spread out more than it needs to and should be. I get that they wanted to change it, and I'm not disappointed that it's not EXACTLY THE SAME (and in fact I'm surprised it contains as many references to the original as it does, considering the sorry state of gali and lewa's masks) but it just looks kind of bad, like someone took one look at the original and tried to draw it from memory. The pieces are all there; the triple-optics, the two head vents, the three holes near the mouth, but they're all assembled in a way that looks really weird. Like a lego uncanny valley.

Still hate the gold armor though, I hope that's just like a bonus piece and that he comes with a white breastplate as well.

I do like Pohatu's mask though, that thing is rad as hell and manages to both homage the original while still taking a new spin on it. The only thing I'd change is make the "cheeks" a bit wider out, but that thing is a solid 8/10.

"just modernized"

motherforgeter it looks like someone left the original under a loving heat lamp and let it melt partially before slapping it on his face and screaming REBOOT 3edgy5me forget that stuff it looks goddamn terrible and you have stuff taste

forget punctuation
pretty much everything they reboot is pretty bad. Look at Rock Raiders, then look at Powers miners.

i miss this guy

also i had all 6(?) of these things and loved to combine the sets

i feel like they just sorta forgot about them at some point, which is too bad cuz they were rad

these are the most accurate physical descriptions of these

THEY OPENED A TIME WARP IN THE UNIVERSE NUUU

hell of a lot better than his 2008 mask, that's for sure

pohatu was always a boss anyway, favorite character overall

Actually, the more I look at it, the more it's sort of growing on me. The only real problem (and it is a bit of a dealbreaker imo) is that the lenses on that mask are just spread way the forget out for no reason leaving a bunch of empty space on the mask. Scoot those forgeters in a bit and it'd look perfectly acceptable.
here, i'll forgetin do it myself

after:

they look like stuff

what are they even doing like is it a restart of the storyline or like what

These look like trash. I miss the old ones ;_;

I think they got rid of Onua because he is basically the same character as Pohatu.

I think they got rid of Onua because he is basically the same character as Pohatu.
wish I could say this wasn't true
For earth vs stone I think that the only way that they coulda made earth more different is to have it more focused around nature, life, fertile ground, yaknow
Underground ecosystems and stuff
The dichotomy was better established in Metru Nui I suppose

I think they got rid of Onua because he is basically the same character as Pohatu.
If pokemon uses the same logic, they'd get rid of ground types because they already have rocks.

on the topic of kaitas, they're pretty poop compared to titans imo

In the MNOLG, Po-Koro was more craftsmanship and sports-focused while Onu-Koro had the lightstone and protodermis mines. They were different enough in that sense.

As for Onua vs Pohatu, they both had the "straight man" sort of role but Onua was supposed to be the more "careful" one while Pohatu had a sort of fun-loving personality (though not to the extent of Lewa).

Depends on which one, honestly. Majority of them were pretty much oversized Toa.
