what does you not eating meat accomplish
the meat industry is still booming. just because you didn't eat one particular morsel of meat doesn't mean you're a hero. the animal is still dead, and someone else will probably eat it. if someone else doesn't eat it, congratulations, you've wasted food and that animal's life.

Because every single person who doesnt eat meat has an impact. If everyone had that mindset we wouldn't have millions of people who are vegetarians, which really does have a huge impact.

my mother strongarmed bloody everyone in my family into not eating meat or fish because her hindu thing forbids it and/or "it was a living thing once, you guys!". i don't ever recall giving a stuff about either but i still don't care for eating meat or fish.
not to mention the "meat" my school's canteen puts into soups looks gross as SHET
